Aquannette's ministry focus is to spread the gospel across the world in song, particularly to Caribbean people and the lovers of Caribbean gospel music genres (gospel reggae, soca gospel, and calypso gospel/gospelypso), as well as to lovers of contemporary and traditional gospel. She is a singer/songwriter. Aquannette continues to give glory and honor to God the Father, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Aquannette's second CD "Hold Your Head Up High" was released on November 30, 2010, and features the singles "I Am Saved (Reggae Mix)" and "Hold Your Head Up High." She will be appearing on the WORD Network on Bobby Jones Presents television program singing "I Am Saved (Reggae Mix)" and "And Can It Be," which she taped in Nashville, TN at Dr. Bobby Jones' Visions TV production studio.
On her debut CD "Who Is Like Unto You? Aquannette'co-wrote most of the songs on the CD with Loris Holland. He was one of her two producers/musicians and is a talented producer, songwriter, singer, keyboard player, and arranger who has also worked as producer for Deniece Williams (co-produced with Deniece Williams the tracks on her Grammy-award winning gospel CD), Bam Crawford's Purpose, Nancey Jackson, Tramaine Hawkins, Vickie Winans, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Felicia Marion, and many others, and who has also worked on projects for Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Dez, Santana, Jonathan Butler, Mel Holder, and many others. He was also Keyboard Magazine's cover artist for September 2001. Mel Holder, her other producer, is a talented producer and saxophonist. He has worked as a producer for Gary Anglin and the Voices of CCC, Lanee Battle, Larry and Marissa Felder and others, has released several of his own CDs, one of which features Kelly Price and Jonathan Butler, and has played on numerous other artists' CDs.
